Eric Jones

Senior Website Strategy & Web Experience Leader

ABOUT ME

I lead enterprise web platforms as products, improving how people navigate, understand, and take action while staying close to execution and how the work actually gets done.

I’ve worked across complex B2B and web platform environments where strong web experiences depend on clear strategy, CMS operations, UX judgment, analytics visibility, stakeholder alignment, search-informed structure, and practical execution.

In my current role at Xsolla, I work across marketing, product, product marketing, engineering, UX, SEO, analytics, and GTM teams to turn fragmented web needs into clearer systems. My focus is on helping the website work better for users and for the teams running it: stronger journeys, cleaner publishing workflows, better launch readiness, clearer measurement, and business-critical web initiatives that move forward without creating operational chaos.

I’m strongest in roles where the website is treated as a product and a business-critical platform, not just a place to publish pages.

WHAT I DO

Enterprise Web Strategy & Digital Experience

I lead enterprise web strategies that treat the website as a business-critical product experience, not just a place to publish pages. My work connects user needs, content structure, brand trust, performance, search visibility, and technical execution into clearer digital experiences that help people understand, evaluate, and take action.

I’m strongest in complex environments where websites need to serve multiple audiences, business priorities, and internal teams without becoming fragmented. I help translate complex products, services, and value propositions into web experiences that are easier to navigate, easier to manage, and easier to improve over time.

CMS Governance & Web Operations

I build the operating systems behind scalable websites: CMS structures, publishing workflows, intake processes, QA standards, accessibility checks, SEO foundations, documentation, and release readiness. My goal is to make the website easier for users to experience and easier for teams to run.

Strong web operations reduce friction. They help teams move faster without sacrificing quality, consistency, or long-term maintainability. I focus on creating cleaner workflows, clearer ownership, and stronger site hygiene so web platforms remain stable, adaptable, and ready to support growth.

UX, Search & Conversion Path Optimization

I improve how people move through websites: what they see first, what they need to understand, where friction appears, and what makes the next step feel clear. My work spans UX and information architecture, search-informed content structure, SEO/AEO readiness, landing page quality, CTA paths, analytics visibility, and performance improvement.

I approach optimization as a mix of clarity, trust, and measurement. The goal is not just more traffic or more pages. It is helping the right users find the right information, understand the value, and take action with confidence.

Web Platform Delivery & Cross-Functional Leadership

I lead complex web initiatives from planning through launch by connecting strategy, content, design, engineering, analytics, SEO, and business stakeholders. I bring structure to ambiguous work by turning scattered requests into clearer priorities, actionable requirements, sequenced delivery plans, and reliable launch processes.

My leadership style is practical and collaborative. I focus on alignment, ownership, visibility, and follow-through, especially in distributed or fast-moving environments. I’m comfortable influencing without authority, managing dependencies, and helping teams ship high-quality web work without creating unnecessary operational chaos.

TESTIMONIALS

I had the privilege of working alongside Eric on the B2B Integrated Marketing team at Xsolla for nearly three years. He owned all website deliverables across Xsolla’s massive site, managing updates, launches, and improvements with remarkable consistency and quality. Even while being pulled in multiple directions at once, Eric always delivered high-caliber work on time and ensured the team stayed aligned on goals and priorities. Beyond his technical expertise, what impressed me most was Eric’s composure and ability to collaborate under pressure. No matter how chaotic a project or how tight the deadlines, he remained dependable, positive, and supportive, making him an invaluable teammate. His ability to balance execution with teamwork set a high standard, and I’d highly recommend him to any organization looking for someone who can own complex responsibilities while being a genuinely great person.

Senior Manager, Integrated Marketing, Xsolla

I had the pleasure of working closely with Eric during my time at Xsolla, where he owned the website and drove the overall web strategy. He collaborated seamlessly across design, product, and development to bring projects to life, and he was always such a reliable partner whenever I had campaigns and emails going live. From ensuring landing pages were ready to making sure Pardot/Salesforce tracking + form integrations worked flawlessly, Eric always came through with solutions that kept everything running smoothly and gave the team the data we needed.

What I appreciated most about Eric was his mix of leadership and attitude. He’s an incredible problem solver and communicator, and he never hesitated to stand up for the team or share his perspective in a way that pushed projects forward. On top of that, he brought such a great sense of humor that made even the stressful times easier. Eric’s work ethic also really stood out, as he handled the constant agility his role demanded with grace and professionalism, often going the extra mile on projects and staying late to coordinate with the dev team overseas.

Eric is one of those rare teammates who make the work and the people around him better. He’s knowledgeable, collaborative, and such a high achiever, and he balances that with a personality that’s easy to work with and genuinely uplifting. Any team would be lucky to have him, and I miss working with him a ton.
